Most people know Ibiza as the Spanish island which hosts the world's best DJs, in some of the world's most famous super-clubs and bars; making it the ultimate destination for clubbers. However, there's a whole lot more to this beautiful sun-kissed Balearic island. Imagine quiet rural villages, sandy coves, pine-clad hills, captivating natural beauty, stunning scenery, breathtaking views, plentiful sunshine... and a wealth of rich history, heritage and culture.

The ancient capital city - Eivissa - Ibiza Town, boasts the World heritage listed Dalt Vila. The ancient buildings, ramparts, city walls and a warren of narrow, winding, steep, cobbled streets give way to magnificent panoramic views over the sea, the harbour and the city. This, the oldest and highest part of Ibiza Town, is guarded by strong fortifications built by Charles V in the 16th century.

For a relatively small island, it's incredible how wild and remote some parts of it can feel, with pine forests, rich fertile farmland, and remote beaches with turquoise waters and sugar-white sand. The long, hot, dry summers and mild winters help to enable the visitor to enjoy the Island's natural environment, plus the many galleries, museums, live music and cultural events, all year round.

There is an uninhabited, rugged island off the coast of Ibiza - a national park - accessible only by boat. It's called Es Vedra and it's quite stunning. The sea temperatures around Ibiza island range from around 18 degrees to 26 degrees (May to August), making this area ideal for water-sports of all kinds, including snorkelling, as there are some beautiful rocky seabeds to explore.

Ibiza has a delightful gastronomic culture, influenced by travellers from all over the world. It is colourful and exciting, and utilises the island's fresh, local ingredients. Try the Balearic sausages sobrassada and botifarra; Arròs de Matança a dish is made of rice, any type of local meat, saffron, and mushrooms;  Bullit de peix a traditional Ibizan fish stew and Greixonera a traditional Ibizan dessert made from pastries.

Let us help you and your team to explore the many beautiful aspects to the island - it's gorgeous tranquillity... and it's incredible vibrancy.
